ThoughtfulFeeder is a UK-based seasonal bird food subscription service.

These terms apply to all purchases made through thoughtfulfeeder.co.uk. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms.
2. Our Products
ThoughtfulFeeder offers a quarterly seasonal bird food subscription service. Each subscription delivers one box of seasonal bird food per quarter (approximately every three months), formulated in line with current RSPB seasonal feeding guidance.
Product contents may vary between seasons as our recipes are designed to reflect current ornithological guidance and seasonal appropriateness. We reserve the right to substitute ingredients of equivalent or higher quality if a product becomes unavailable, without notice.
3. Subscriptions
How subscriptions work:
Your subscription begins on the date of your first payment. Subsequent payments are taken automatically every three months using the payment details you provided at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe.
Pricing:
The current subscription price is £24.99 per quarter, including free delivery. We reserve the right to change our pricing and will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before any price change takes effect. You may cancel before the new price applies if you do not wish to continue.
Gift subscriptions:
Gift subscriptions are a one-time payment of £89.96, covering four seasonal deliveries across twelve months. Gift subscriptions are non-recurring and will not auto-renew.
4. Cancellation and Pausing
There are no cancellation fees, no minimum term, and no penalty for cancelling.
To cancel or pause, email hello@thoughtfulfeeder.co.uk with your name and the email address used to subscribe. We will process your request within 2 working days and confirm by email.
If you cancel after a quarterly payment has already been taken, that payment covers the delivery for that quarter and is non-refundable unless your order has not yet been dispatched.
You can also manage your subscription directly through the Stripe customer portal. A link to the portal is included in your original order confirmation email.

- We aim to dispatch within 3 working days of each quarterly payment
6. Returns and Refunds
Damaged or incorrect orders:
If your order arrives damaged or contains incorrect items, please email us at hello@thoughtfulfeeder.co.uk within 14 days of receipt, including a brief description and a photograph if possible. We will send a replacement at no charge.
Change of mind:
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel a new subscription within 14 days of your first order being dispatched, without giving a reason. To exercise this right, email us within that period. If the goods have already been dispatched, you may be asked to return them at your own cost. A full refund will be issued within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods or your notice of cancellation, whichever is earlier.
Bird food is a perishable product. Once opened, it cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Subscription payments already taken:
Payments for quarters that have not yet been dispatched will be refunded in full if you cancel before dispatch. Once a quarterly box has been dispatched, that payment is non-refundable except in the case of damage or error on our part.
7. Our Relationship With the RSPB
ThoughtfulFeeder is an independent business. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way connected to the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB). We follow RSPB public guidance as published on their website, rspb.org.uk, because we believe it represents the best available science on garden bird feeding in the UK. References to RSPB guidance on our website are informational only.
8. Limitation of Liability
We take the quality and safety of our products seriously and source from reputable UK suppliers. However, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes for your garden birds, as results depend on many factors outside our control including feeder hygiene, local bird populations, and weather.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you in connection with any order is limited to the value of that order.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
