How We Deliver

All ThoughtfulFeeder orders are sent by Royal Mail Tracked 48, to any address in the United Kingdom.

We have chosen Royal Mail because it is the most trusted and widely recognised delivery service in the UK, with reliable delivery to rural addresses, and because tracking is included as standard so you always know where your box is.

Delivery Cost

Delivery is free on all orders. There are no minimum order thresholds and no hidden charges. The price you see is the price you pay.

When We Dispatch

These are Royal Mail's estimated timescales and are not guaranteed. Delays can occasionally occur during busy periods such as Christmas.

Tracking Your Order

When your order is dispatched, Royal Mail will send a tracking notification directly to the email address you provided at checkout. You can track your parcel at royalmail.com/track-your-item.

If you do not receive a tracking notification within 4 working days of your payment, please email hello@thoughtfulfeeder.co.uk and we will look into it for you.

Packaging

Your seasonal box is sent in a sturdy, fully recyclable cardboard postal box. Inside you will find your seasonal bird food and a one-page printed seasonal guide explaining what's in your box, why it's appropriate for this time of year, and simple tips for getting the most from it.

Our packaging contains no unnecessary plastic. All materials are recyclable through standard UK kerbside collection.

Box weight: Approximately 1.5 to 2kg per quarterly delivery — designed to be easy to lift and carry.

What If My Order Doesn't Arrive?

If your tracking shows your parcel as delivered but you have not received it, please:

  1. Check with any neighbours in case it was left with them
  2. Check any safe places on your property (porch, shed, behind a gate)
  3. Email us at hello@thoughtfulfeeder.co.uk with your name and order details

If Royal Mail confirms the parcel is lost, we will send a replacement at no charge. We ask that you allow 10 working days from the dispatch date before reporting a parcel as missing, as Royal Mail occasionally experiences delays beyond their standard timescales.

What If My Order Arrives Damaged?

If your box arrives damaged or the contents have been affected in transit, please email hello@thoughtfulfeeder.co.uk within 14 days of receipt. A photograph of the damage is helpful but not essential. We will send a replacement within 3 working days.

Delivery to Remote Addresses

We deliver to all UK mainland addresses, as well as Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands, and the Scottish islands. No additional charge applies to any UK address.

We do not currently deliver outside the United Kingdom.

Address Changes

If you need to update your delivery address, please email hello@thoughtfulfeeder.co.uk as soon as possible. If your quarterly box has not yet been dispatched, we can update your address before it goes out. Once a parcel has been dispatched, we are unable to redirect it.
